The last meeting I went to (nearly a decade ago) had myself and two other residents sitting in a room, opposite two (of the 3) members of the Association, at River Valley Community Centre. With no ongoing issues at that time, interest soon dissipated and the committee naturally enough, lost enthusiasm too. Over the intervening years, our estate has more than doubled in size and population. There have been numerous issues attended to by those immediately concerned and various fractional parties scattered throughout the estate doing great work for themselves, their neighbours, as well as all the residents of Ridgewood.
Much respect also goes out to the previous incarnations of residents associations, all the volunteers, from those who have initiated clean ups, lobbied their local councillors, protested and created campaigns and all those who have shown a desire to enjoy a safe and better home in Ridgewood. Well done to you all.
I know it's not easy, volunteering your time, we all have work, health, family and other things that should take precedence, but if we gather enough people we can ease that burden. High time that the residents of Ridgewood have an association, or at the very least, a dedicated committee, a central point from where we can combine and focus all our efforts...

At the moment, Ridgewood Residents Association is not much more than a handful of individuals, an email address and a facebook page... I've tried to limit the Facebook page to official posts concerning a residents association with a few public information posts made too. You can find it hereThere is also a facebook page where residents can chat to each other, swap info, receive alerts etc. You will find that here
